    Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 264

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, line 22, strike "goods" and insert in lieu thereof "food".

    2. On page 4, line 23, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof a colon and before ""rural"", insert:

                  "(a) "business" means an establishment that sells food for home preparation and consumption and that meets the definition of retail food store in 7 USCA 2012(k)(1) for purposes of the federal food stamp program, whether or not the establishment participates in the food stamp program;

                  (b) "food" means any food or food product for the home consumption that meets the definition of food in 7 USCA 2012(g)(1) for purposes of the federal stamp program; and

                  (c)".

    3. On page 4, line 25, after "area", insert "with a population of less than five thousand people".,

and thence referred to the CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE.
