AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS' DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND HARM REDUCTION PROGRAM SERVICES IN CHIMAYO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 for a youth conservation corps to provide drug abuse prevention and harm reduction program services to youth twelve to twenty-one years of age in the Chimayo area in Rio Arriba and Santa Fe counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
