AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE THE AWARD AMOUNTS AND THE NUMBER OF AWARDS IN THE NEW MEXICO HEALTH SERVICE CORPS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to increase the number of awards and the amount of the awards in the New Mexico health service corps. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
