AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH AND PREVENTION OF TEENAGE PREGNANCY IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to coordinate with an existing youth service program serving Valencia county for a program to provide educational outreach for, and to aid in, the prevention of teenage pregnancy. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
