    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 110

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, line 11, after the period, insert

    "For purposes of voting in elections held pursuant to the Public Improvement District Act, each owner shall have the number of votes or portions of votes equal to the number of acres or portions of acres rounded upwards to the nearest one-fifth of an acre owned by the owner in the submitted district.".

    2. On page 10, strike lines 1 through 5 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

         "C. At the end of the appointed directors' terms, the governing body shall hold an election of new directors by majority vote of the resident qualified electors and owners.".,

and thence referred to the CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE.
