AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE VETERANS' SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF FLAGPOLES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the veterans' services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to purchase flagpoles for the state funeral honors and burial program and state veterans' cemeteries, monuments and museums. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
