    Your CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 74

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 12, after "AMENDING", insert "AND REPEALING".

    2. On pages 42 through 44, strike Section 18 in its entirety.

    3. On page 44, between lines 20 and 21, insert the following new section:

    "Section 18. REPEAL.--Sections 48-7-2 and 48-7-3 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1927, Chapter 43, Sections 1 and 2) are repealed.".

    4. On page 44, line 22, strike "July 1, 2009" and insert in lieu thereof "January 1, 2010".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
