AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY SPACE GRANT CONSORTIUM FOR THE SPACEPORT AMERICA STUDENT LAUNCH PILOT PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-nine thousand dollars ($59,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to pay for the spaceport America student launch pilot program of the space grant consortium. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
