    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 40, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. Strike House Consumer and Public Affairs Committee Amendment 2.

    2. On page 2, line 8, after the period, insert:

    “The board shall promulgate rules for the implementation of the provisions of this paragraph, including development of a standardized consent form for licensed practitioners to receive and supply donated prescription drugs. A drug that may only be dispensed to a patient registered with the drug’s manufacturer in accordance with federal food and drug administration requirements shall not be donated or supplied under the provisions of this section.
