AN ACT
RELATING TO THE LEGISLATURE; RESTRICTING LOBBYING BY STATE AGENCIES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. STATE AGENCIES--LOBBYING.--A state agency shall not use appropriated money to attempt to influence the passage or defeat of a legislative measure. This section shall not prohibit a state officer or employee from using state resources to provide public information or to provide information responsive to a request.
