AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NORTHERN NEW MEXICO STATE SCHOOL, ALSO KNOWN AS NORTHERN NEW MEXICO COLLEGE, TO PROVIDE SCIENCE-BASED HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DECONTAMINATION EVALUATION, TRAINING AND EQUIPMENT STATEWIDE TO VOLUNTEER AND FULL-TIME EMERGENCY RESPONSE AGENCIES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thirteen thousand dollars ($113,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of northern New Mexico state school, also known as northern New Mexico college, for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to provide science-based hazardous materials decontamination evaluation, training and equipment statewide to volunteer and full-time emergency response agencies. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
