AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO FUND A SERVICE LEARNING PROGRAM IN THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to fund a service learning program in the college of education. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
