AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 and subsequent fiscal years to support the institute of international relations to enhance the global career opportunities of undergraduate students by providing international learning experiences in their fields of study. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
