AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR RURAL ARTISAN MANUFACTURERS AND FOOD PROCESSORS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to support the New Mexico department of agriculture's buy New Mexico program in maintaining wholesale trade shows and an e-commerce web site to promote and sell products made by rural artisan manufacturers and food processors. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
