    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 622

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, line 10, after "services", insert "and instructional equipment and materials".

     2. On page 3, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following new subsection:

          "G. "instructional equipment and materials" means up-to-date equipment and tools aligned to the competencies that are taught in the green jobs training programs and that are recommended by businesses and the green jobs industry for applied technology education programs;".

     3. Renumber the succeeding subsections accordingly.

     4. On page 5, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following new subsection:

          "C. Each grant shall include funds for instructional equipment and materials not to exceed two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000).".,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
