AN ACT

RELATING TO FEDERAL FUNDS; REQUIRING THE LEGISLATIVE FINANCE COMMITTEE TO OVERSEE THE EXPENDITURE OF FEDERAL FUNDS THAT ARE NOT SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATION; REQUIRING AGENCY COOPERATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. LEGISLATIVE FINANCE COMMITTEE OVERSIGHT OF FEDERAL FUNDS EXPENDITURES.--The legislative finance committee shall oversee expenditures of federal funds that are not subject to appropriation. All agencies shall cooperate with the committee and provide information as requested.
