AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ESPANOLA-AREA COGNITIVE, SPEECH, LANGUAGE AND OTHER THERAPY SERVICES, REHABILITATION AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTING FOR PERSONS WITH BRAIN INJURIES, CLOSED HEAD TRAUMAS AND RELATED PROBLEMS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 for Espanola-area cognitive, speech, language and other therapy services, rehabilitation and diagnostic testing for persons with brain injuries, closed head traumas and related problems. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
