    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 501

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 14, strike the ending quotation mark.

     2. On page 2, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following new subsection:

          "C. The provisions of this section shall not apply to loans made by a banking corporation, savings and loan association or credit union operating under the laws of the United States."".

     3. On page 2, line 16, strike "July" and insert in lieu thereof "October".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
