AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE THERAPY SERVICES FOR CHILDREN IN OTERO COUNTY AT RISK OF BEING REMOVED OR WHO HAVE ALREADY BEEN REMOVED FROM THEIR HOMES DUE TO ABUSE OR NEGLECT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to provide therapy services, including family therapy and play therapy for young children, for children in Otero county who are at risk of being removed or have already been removed from their family homes due to abuse or neglect. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
