AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR GRANTS-IN-AID FOR PUBLIC LIBRARY SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred eighty-one thousand two dollars ($681,002) is appropriated from the general fund to the library division of the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to make grants-in-aid for public library services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
