    Your COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 23

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 19, before the period insert "of which forty-seven thousand dollars ($47,000) may be distributed to the county clerks for the training of presiding judges by the county clerks and with which the secretary of state may assist in accordance with Section 1-2-2 NMSA 1978".

    2. On page 1, line 19, after the period, insert "This appropriation is contingent on the state board of finance approving the method by which the secretary of state determines the number of ballots to be printed for each precinct in the state."

    3. On page 1, line 20, strike "at the end of fiscal year 2009" and insert in lieu thereof "on December 31, 2008".
