SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 207 appropriates $1,440.0 from the general fund to the Board of Regents of New
Mexico State University to for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years for the
New Mexico Department of Agriculture to purchase New Mexico-grown fresh fruits and
vegetables and to administer a program ensuring that the fresh fruits and vegetables are delivered
to school lunch programs statewide.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $1,440.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund.
Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of any fiscal year shall not
revert to the general fund.
