SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 53 appropriates $25 thousand from the general fund to Cultural Affairs department to
fund children’s performing arts productions, children’s performing arts classes, educational
outreach for bilingual performing arts, and operational expenses for a performing arts theater in
Santa Fe County.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $25 thousand contained in this House Bill 53 is a recurring expense to the
General Fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY09 shall
revert to the General Fund.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
