A MEMORIAL

DECLARING FEBRUARY 5, 2008 "BEV GRAHAM SCIENCE AND MATH DAY"

AT THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

WHEREAS, Dr. Bev Graham died on December 19, 2007; and

WHEREAS, he was the science consultant at the public

education department for twenty-six years; and

WHEREAS, he dedicated his career to the furtherance of

science and math education in New Mexico's public schools;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that condolences be

expressed to Dr. Graham's wife, Betty, and his son, Peter, and

that February 5, 2008 be declared "Bev Graham Science and Math

Day" at the house of representatives.
