SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 28
I request that the following be funded:
Mary Kay Papen
to the aging and long-term services department

SAN MIGUEL SENIOR COMMUNITY CENTER RENOVATE
three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan, design and construct renovations,
including lighting, access ramps and bathrooms, in compliance with the Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990 at the San Miguel senior community center in Dona Ana county
to the border authority

SANTA TERESA POE RAIL CROSSING
three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for a feasibility study and plan for the issuance of
a presidential permit for the railyard and maintenance facility at the Santa Teresa port of
entry in Dona Ana county, including related engineering, environmental and financial
feasibility, related requirements for a new railroad crossing and an extension of railroad
infrastructure to the border
to the cultural affairs department

NAT'L HISPANIC CULTURAL CTR TORREON FRESCO
ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to construct the Torreon fresco project at the national
Hispanic cultural center in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county
NM FARM & RANCH MUSEUM RENOVATE & CONSTRUCT
nine million dollars ($9,000,000) to plan, design, renovate, construct and equip the New
Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum, including information technology and related
equipment, furniture and infrastructure, exhibits, a rural life center, the Tortugas kitchen, a
special events arena and the main gallery, in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county
