AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SERVE MEALS TO LOW-INCOME SENIOR CITIZENS IN CERTAIN SCHOOLS WITHIN THE GADSDEN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to serve meals to low-income senior citizens at schools in the Gadsden independent school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
