AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT FOR A YOUTH DANCE PROGRAM AT PECOS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY AND TURQUOISE TRAIL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventeen thousand six hundred dollars ($117,600) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for a youth dance program at Pecos elementary school in San Miguel county and Turquoise Trail elementary school in Santa Fe county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
