AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NORTHERN NEW MEXICO STATE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE SCIENCE-BASED HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DECONTAMINATION EVALUATION AND TRAINING SERVICES STATEWIDE TO VOLUNTEER AND FULL-TIME RESPONSE AGENCIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of northern New Mexico state school for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to provide science-based hazardous materials decontamination evaluation and training services statewide to volunteer and full-time response agencies. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
