AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to match funds directed to sustaining after-school enrichment programs in Albuquerque's south valley. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
