AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NEXT GENERATION FUND.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATIONS.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the next generation fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years to promote positive and child youth development pursuant to the Children's Trust Fund Act. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
