AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES FOR ACEQUIA CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the interstate stream commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to provide engineering and design services for acequia construction projects. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
