AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE FOREST WORKER SAFETY CERTIFICATION PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-nine thousand five hundred dollars ($199,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the forestry division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support the forest worker safety certification program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
