AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A FULL-TIME POSITION FOR AN ASSISTANT PROGRAM DIRECTOR AT THE NEW MEXICO MAINSTREET PROGRAM OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to create a new full-time position of assistant program director at the New Mexico mainstreet program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
