AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO RECEIVING A DONATION OF A PRIVATE COLLECTION OF MILITARY ARTIFACTS TO A MILITARY MUSEUM OF HISTORY AT THE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD FACILITY IN RIO RANCHO.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 for Rio Rancho to provide for inventory, appraisal and relocation of a private collection of military artifacts that is being donated to a museum of military history at the army national guard facility in Rio Rancho. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
