AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT FACILITY IN CIBOLA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten million dollars ($10,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for a substance abuse treatment facility in Cibola county to service the northwest part of the state, including McKinley county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
