AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO FUND A COOPERATIVE VEGETABLE AND FRUIT DISTRIBUTION CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for the New Mexico department of agriculture to fund a cooperative vegetable and fruit distribution center in Dona Ana county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
