AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEFRAY COSTS INCURRED BY THE NEW MEXICO ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION FOR PRINTING AND TROPHIES RELATED TO ATHLETICS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to defray costs incurred by the New Mexico activities association for printing and trophies related to athletics and other activities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
