AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the vocational rehabilitation division of the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to implement the State Use Act program to expand employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
