AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO ESTABLISH ADOBE PRESERVATION FIELD SCHOOLS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to establish, in partnership with other entities, adobe preservation field schools in the village of Dona Ana and at the university's agricultural field office in the community of Alcalde. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
