AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY TO CREATE THE CONSORTIUM FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty-five thousand dollars ($165,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years to create the consortium for professional development schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
