AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred fifty-five thousand dollars ($455,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for the family development program in the college of education. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
