AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO INCREASE THE OPERATIONAL BUDGET FOR THE UTTON TRANSBOUNDARY RESOURCES CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to increase the operational budget for the Utton transboundary resources center at the school of law. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
