AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY TO EXPAND THE ATMOSPHERIC AND GROUND WATER RESEARCH CAPACITY OF THE GEOPHYSICAL RESEARCH CENTER.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to expand the atmospheric and ground water research capacity of the geophysical research center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
