AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY'S PUBLIC BROADCASTING OPERATIONS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to improve the university's public broadcasting operations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
