AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ENDOWMENT IN THE ART DEPARTMENT OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to establish an endowment in the art department to honor Kenneth Barrick. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
