AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TELEPSYCHIATRY SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty-seven thousand dollars ($157,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for telepsychiatry services in Carlsbad. No more than ten percent of the appropriation may be used by the university for administrative costs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
