SENATE BILL 53

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 14, strike "; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS".

    2. On page 2, line 5, strike "nine" and insert in lieu thereof "eleven".

    3. On page 2, line 12, strike "six" and insert in lieu thereof "eight" and after "governor" insert ", with the advice and consent of the senate,".

    4. On page 2, line 14, strike "a research university" and insert in lieu thereof "three from research universities, not more than one of whom is from any single university".

    5. On page 2, line 22, strike "four" and insert in lieu thereof "five".

    6. On page 5, line 9, strike "appropriated" and insert in lieu thereof "subject to appropriation by the legislature".

    7. On page 6, strike Section 8 in its entirety.

    8. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
