FOR THE REVENUE STABILIZATION AND TAX POLICY COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FUND.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the emergency medical services fund for expenditure in accordance with the emergency medical fund distribution formula in fiscal year 2008 and subsequent fiscal years. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
