AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ADDITIONAL STAFF AT THE THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred ninety-two thousand four hundred dollars ($392,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the third judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for seven new full-time positions: a legal office specialist, a human resources specialist, a procurement specialist and four clerks. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
