AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety-six thousand dollars ($96,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for a substance abuse program in San Miguel county that uses a best practices treatment component, a prevention component, an after-care and supportive services component and the community reinforcement approach. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
